Standing up for healthy people and healthy ecosystems, it unites residents in Solano and Contra Costa counties with allies around the Bay to protect living things from Montezuma LLC’s carbon-waste dumping scheme.
Through education, mobilization, persuasion, and building power and relationships, we’re working with communities that could be directly harmed by this dangerous proposal, aiming to make sure decisionmakers never approve the permits it needs to happen.
The campaign educates affected community members about threats the project poses. We also educate decisionmakers and elected officials about those threats, working to persuade them to oppose the project on our behalf.
We’re mobilizing community members to demonstrate broad opposition to this project, and we’re building our power through bringing new members into our campaign and collaborating with a large diversity of groups to take collective action.
